6 PM RADAR UPDATE

A line of storms from Whiteville to Marion to just east of Florence is heading southeast through Horry and northern Georgetown Counties over the next 1 to 2 hours. Storms will be capable of strong wind, frequent lightning, and very heavy rainfall.

4:45 PM RADAR UPDATE

Scattered storms are moving through the P*e Dee and Border Belt now and a few of these contain strong winds capable of damage. All storms will produce frequent lightning and very heavy rainfall so keep an eye on the sky as they head toward the coast over the next two or three hours.

Bloomingville Area there is a water outage from a main break in the pipes. The water department is trying to work on the issue at this time. It maybe down for a few hours.

One more day of dangerous heat across southeast NC & northeast SC ahead of an approaching cold front which will bring a level 2 of 5 risk for some severe storms with damaging winds and/or large hail late in the day.
