Thank you to the Kingstree chapter of "Daugthers of the American Revoluntion" for decorating the Christmas tree for our veterans located in the Williamsburg County VA office.

The DAR is a nonprofit, nonpolitical volunteer women's service organization dedicated to promoting patriotism, preserving American history and securing America's future through better education consists of over 190,000 members in 3,000 chapters across the world. These vibrant, active women are the heart of the organization.

In light of the ongoing federal government shutdown, the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs has released its Contingency Plan — outlining how essential services for Veterans, families, and survivors will continue during this period.

While some federal operations may pause, VA health care, benefits processing, and other critical services remain active to ensure support continues where it’s needed most.
