The Church On The Plains The Friends of the Church on the Plains is a NOT-for-profit organization.

Our historic building is prominently located on the center of the Plains (across from the fire station) and available to rent for weddings and other services.

Such a spectacular weekend! They say many hands make light work. They say it takes a village. Our humble little Church on the Plains was a perfect example of volunteerism at its finest on Friday and Saturday, as volunteers joined us on our front lawn to make a dream come true!Between helping us move one ton+ boulders, repairing our water pump, digging 21 holes, mixing compost into soil, moving sod, planting boxwoods, and finally starting our vision for the Peace Garden, the Kingston Improvement & Historical Society can not thank YOU all enough!

Come join our Garden Party! Aka our Dig & Get Dirty Party! Saturday, September 20th, 10:00 AM. We’re adding boulders and bushes to create the Judith Oljey Memorial Peace Garden and we welcome your help! We’ve seen great interest and are hoping for a crowd. Many hands make light work. Meeting at the church, 151 Main Street, Kingston NH, 10:00 AM. We’ll be transplanting donated boxwoods and other plants to bring our vision to life! The weather will be perfect! Look forward to seeing you!

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED! The Judith Oljey memorial Peace Garden is now set to become a reality. The water to help it grow, the circular granite centerpiece, the plans and the resource$. Now we need MAN/WOMEN POWER to help us dig, prepare, plant, and maintain. We are grateful for the charitable support from Alternative Sales and we hope to see you there this weekend. The syrup is made from local, town trees, and we loved last year’s batch so much that we bought extra to share with friends! Choose which charity you want to support and we appreciate YOU for all you do to help us maintain the historic Church on the Plains!
