Help shape the future of firefighter safety!
On behalf of NIOSH National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health, the National Fallen Firefighters Foundation encourages members of the fire service to participate in an important survey that will help improve firefighter line-of-duty death (LODD) and serious injury investigations.
NIOSH is seeking input from company officers, chief officers, and firefighters, especially those who have served in a safety officer role, to better understand the human factors that influence firefighter LODD and serious injury investigations. The findings will help strengthen investigation tools and recommendations that support firefighter safety nationwide.
The confidential survey takes approximately 15–20 minutes to complete, is voluntary, and can be completed at your own pace using the "Save & Return Later" feature.
