It is our hope to provide a nexus of information and opportunity for filmmakers to learn, share, and create here in the Hudson Valley!

Much is in the planning phase, but the goal is to make films-- short or feature-length, with an emphasis on narrative. Participation is open to shooters, cinematographers, sound engineers and mixers, editors, directors, actors, and screenwriters as well as people who can provide production design, props, hair & makeup, wardrobe, and production assistance. Probably best if you are not yet in a union or guild with the goal here being to build or add to a portfolio and/or reel that will help catapult you to a professional higher level.

Please understand that the majority of planned shoots will occur on weekends, with the idea of shooting an entire short film over no more than four days (two weekends). Pre-production meetings may take place on weekdays in the evenings, but if of course it will be up to the crew on each project.

Additionally, we hope to offer workshops and classes led by professionals for nominal fees. We plan to eventually instigate a membership plan that will reward you with discounts and members-only events.
