We are proud members of Friends of Libraries Section of the NY Library Association & Kingston Uptown Business Assoc. Kingston Library provides great resources for research, learning, and enjoyment for local residents, but the library can get only so far on tax money. That's where Friends of the Kingston Library comes into play. Through various volunteer and fundraising efforts, Friends of the Kingston Library works hard to improve every aspect of the library, including the facilities, the collection, and the programs offered. The Kingston Library Trustee Election and Tax Levy Vote
Tuesday, September 15- all day at the temporary location, 61 Crown St., Kingston, NY. from 10am-8pm.
To be decided: Shall a tax appropriation of $1,305,016.00 to support the operation of the Kingston Library be approved?

In addition, three (3) Trustees shall be elected for three-year terms. The candidates are Joseph Braby, Ursula M. Inghem, and Frances Vigna.

NEW DATE! Next Wednesday, August 5th, the Friends of Kingston Library will join the neighbors of 10th and Wall Street at Parklet Kingston NY to dedicate a Little Free Library, built by students in the Youth After-School Intro to Woodworking Class at the River Maritime Museum! Celebrate this new library with neighbors and enjoy light refreshments. We welcome folks to bring book donations to "seed" the Little Free Library.

Following the ribbon cutting will be Alexandra Larios Summer Reading Hour at 6:30. Bring Your Own Book.

UPDATE: EVENT POSTPONED DUE TO RAIN - NEW DATE TBD

Hey ! join us on Tuesday the 21st to celebrate a ribbon cutting of a new Little Free Library at LYE Parklet Kingston NY!
The beautiful library was built by students at Hudson River Maritime Museum's Youth After School Intro to Woodworking class. Stick around after the ribbon cutting for Alexandra Larios Reading Hour- a Bring Your Own Book event.
