Looking for a safe, scenic home for your boat this winter? Monthly winter moorage is now available at the Port of Kingston, beginning October 1.

Nestled in the heart of Puget Sound, Kingston offers everything you need for the winter season:

This event is completely free and open to the public—everyone is welcome!
Start your morning with a behind-the-scenes lab tour and a guided beach walk, where you’ll get an up-close look at our local marine environment.

Beginning at 1:00 PM, enjoy a series of 8 short, engaging presentations covering a wide range of marine ecology topics—including our ongoing cleanup efforts in Port Gamble Bay.
This exciting event is a collaborative effort bringing together around 30 scientists, biologists, and members of the Port Gamble S'Klallam Tribe, all working toward a shared vision.

The goal? To grow the marine lab into a 3–5 acre science and industry campus that supports research, education, and innovation.

Festivities at the Port of Kingston begin at 3:15pm The waterfront comes alive with:

A special performance by Danny Vernon as Elvis

A visit from Santa Claus

And of course… the Tree Lighting Ceremony to kick off the season!

The lights will sparkle nightly through the end of January, so come back often to enjoy the magic.
