Advocate can help find service providers for food, shelter, clothing. Advocate will attend court hearings, and can also provide transportation to and from court. Safety is first and foremost, and a personalized plan to keep you safe will be the first step in becoming a survivor.

This weekend’s issue of USA Today includes a special insert commemorating the 100th anniversary of International Women’s Day (March 8). Verizon sponsored a two-page spread on domestic violence, which includes an op-ed by NNEDV's Sue Else on page 22. It discusses the vital importance of investing in services for survivors.
