It’s that time of year again! Registration for Town of Kingston Summer Recreation is now open.

If you’re interested in participating, please fill out the registration form and return it to us as soon as possible. Spaces fill quickly, so don’t wait!

We look forward to another fun-filled summer with games, activities, friendships, and great memories.

Hello Town of Kingston Residents,

We would like to provide a quick update and reminder regarding garbage and recycling collection:

🗑️ Garbage Collection
• Garbage is picked up every Friday unless a holiday schedule causes a change.

♻️ Recycling Collection
• Recycling is collected every other week.

🚫 Important Reminders
• Do not place garbage in recycling containers. Contaminated recycling bins may not be collected.
• Garbage and recycling containers should not be left roadside after collection. Please move them at least 25 feet from the road when possible.
• Residents are responsible for cleaning up any garbage that may be scattered by wildlife, weather, or other causes. Please help keep our neighborhoods clean and attractive.

Because of the holiday on Monday, garbage pickup has been moved to Saturday, May 30th. Don’t forget to get those cans to the curb! 🗑️🇺🇸

Join us for the Memorial Day Ceremony on Monday, May 25 at 10:00 AM at Town Hall as we come together to honor and remember the brave men and women who gave their lives in service to our country. 🇺🇸

Following the ceremony, there will be a special slideshow/movie presentation along with refreshments.

The Town of Kingston mourns the loss of our former Building Inspector, Clark James Kimble.

Clark served our community with dedication and commitment, always working to make our town a better place. His service and presence will be remembered by many.

We extend our heartfelt condolences to his family, friends, and all who knew him.

April 13, 1961 – April 25, 2026

Rest in peace, Clark.

Town of Kingston Garbage Update:

Friendly reminder from the Town of Kingston please place your garbage cans at the roadside the night before pickup. Waste Management may start early, so getting them out the night before helps keep everything running smoothly.

We know bears have been making themselves a little too comfortable lately 🐻. While we don’t have a perfect solution just yet, there are a number of home remedies and deterrents that residents have found helpful in keeping bears away from their cans.

Thank you for doing your part to keep Kingston clean (and a little less interesting for our bear neighbors)!
