CDC 2026 Trip includes cabin camping in Black Bear campsite. Cabins are large, with two rooms with
doors, wood frame double-bunk beds with no mattresses, pillows or bedding. Platform tents on wood platforms will also be
available. Cabins and Platform Tents are open bottom, no mosquito netting. Trees for hammock camping are available. Area for
personal tents is available. Every day will be full of activities beginning with wake-up at 6:30 A.M. (unless you are participating
in the Up With the Sun Fun Run and or the Polar Bear Swim) and ending with taps at 11:00 P.M. Many merit badges (MB's) are
offered in classes. Special instruction ("Eagle Bound") is given for Tenderfoot, 2nd Class, and 1st Class ranks. Popular activities
include swimming, boating, rifle and shotgun shooting, archery, handicraft MB's, scout skill MB's, natural science MB's, and BSA
Lifeguard and COPE for older scouts. Toting (Totin') Chip instruction (knife, saw, and axe) will be offered by T48 leaders. All
meals will be in dining hall beginning with Sunday supper and ending with Saturday breakfast. Church services are usually
offered Sun. and Wed. evenings. We will plan for a Wednesday campfire flag retirement where family are welcome to attend.
Guests may begin to arrive @ 7:30 PM and we should aim to begin our campfire program around 8:15 PM. Friday guests are
welcome to eat dinner at the dining hall provided that they have registered @ the Sequoyah Council and paid individually for
