🪡Back by popular demand: Frankenstuffies! Our teens loved making frankenstuffies last year and we would love to offer it again this year, but we need some help from you!

🐻We are looking for donations of old and used stuffed animals, the uglier the better. These animals will be cut apart and sewn back together. We can only use stuffed animals with regular polyfil stuffing, as other stuffing types are too difficult for the kids to work with.

Donations will be accepted at both service desks until the end of September.

EDIT: We have added an adult Frankenstuffie event on October 17th at 10:00 AM. Space is limited, sign up soon!

📚A Kingsport Public Library card gets you access to over 100,000 physical items including books, dvds, audiobooks, playways, STEM kits, and more!

💻It also gives you access to over 1,000,000 digital resources on Libby and Hoopla. That includes ebooks, audiobooks, music, tv shows, and movies!

✅The best part? All of these resources are 100% free to anyone who lives within a 50 mile radius of the library! All you need to do is come to the library with your photo ID and we can get you a card in less than five minutes.

We are deeply saddened to hear of the passing of Dolly Parton. Dolly was much more than just a country singer. She was a philanthropist, an educator, and an inspiration to many.

She has said, "If I am remembered 100 years from now, I hope it will not be for looks, but for books." Dolly's Imagination Library has been transformative for East TN. As the good work of the Imagination Library continues Dolly's memory will live on.
