Yesterday, September 2nd, was a truly special day for SMILE Foster Closet! We officially celebrated the ribbon cutting for the SMILE & Style Closet at Munsey Church, surrounded by incredible community partners, supporters, and friends.

This boutique space is officially ready to serve local foster youth, giving teens a dignified, empowering environment to browse and pick out their own clothing, sneakers, hygiene items, and accessories—completely free of charge.

A massive thank you to everyone who joined us yesterday and to everyone who helped bring this vision to life.

All donations must be dropped off by Thursday, September 17th!

Did you know the average cost per year in the US to raise a child is now $16,857?

The golden years for so many around these parts are filled with grandchildren yes, but instead of living spoiling and handing them back they are tasked with raising children all over again. Including the expense that comes along with it.

Our CarePortal network sees needs like these often - our senior citizen caregivers that have health issues that take away the ability to work and earn the money needed to keep up with the household and raise a child.

Can you help these grandparents? If you can, one of our trained churches will make a connection with them and make sure this bill gets paid!

Help Us Earn Extra Funds at the TUAC Consignment Sale!

We are selling items at the upcoming TUAC consignment sale, and we need volunteers to help us staff it! The best part? The more volunteer shifts we cover, the higher percentage of profit SMILE earns from our sales to directly support foster, kinship, and at-risk families!

Volunteers will be helping shoppers on the sales floor and assisting during the checkout process.

Looking to make a direct impact in our community? We are searching for local churches, businesses, clubs, civic groups, and passionate individuals who would like to host a donation drive for SMILE Foster Closet!

Hosting a drive is a simple and powerful way to bring your team or organization together while providing essential comfort and dignity to local children in care.
