Tomorrow is the vote on our beloved Abraham Lincoln Elementary School PTO Playground Project !

We need your support- either by attending, emailing, or both!

Support For Our Playground!

The 13th's BOE meeting has on the agenda to, hopefully, officially approve our playground. We want everyone in Kingsport to know how much we love Lincoln and would be thrilled to have a new, SAFE playground for our kids to play on. The BOE meeting is at 6:00 in the Tennessee Room at ASC and we would welcome all Lincoln families that are able to attend to provide a visual for the Board to see how much we want a playground and would appreciate it. If you cannot attend OR want to also send a direct email message to the board stating your support for our playground, it is HIGHLY recommended that you send board members an email asking for their support for our playground. We want to make sure that the Board knows that Lincoln would be so appreciative of a new playground! You can find the BOE member's emails with the link below. I would also encourage you to also send this request for emails out to any community members that you know that also supported our playground effort. All emails should be in to board members in time for them to read them before the meeting at 6:00 on the 13th.

We encourage all Lincoln families and supporters of Lincoln to wear Blue and Gold--Lincoln colors-- on the 13th. Let's show the BOE how much we love Lincoln and look forward to their approval of our new playground!
