Join us on Sat. Nov. 8th at the Kingsport Farmers Market from 5:30 - 8:30 as we celebrate 40 Years of Impact with American Cancer Society Relay For Life in our region! This free community event will look different than our traditional Relay For Life as we celebrate with a full on 1980s party---so bring on the fantabulous outfits, bodacious hair styles, and get ready to party on! A Best Dressed Contests & Fashion Show, SINGO, Trivia, Food and more will round out this awesome evening full of music, dancing, laughter and more. Don't worry--we will most definitely still have our Cancer Survivor and Caregiver recognitions and powerful Luminaria Ceremony throughout the evening.

We are extending a special invitation to all cancer survivors/thrivers, caregivers, as well as ANYONE and EVERYONE who has ever been a part of Relay For Life over the last few decades to attend from our region---team captains, sponsors, teams, participants, survivors, caregivers, advocates, CPS-3 participants! We want to celebrate with you the amazing 40 years of impact made because of your participation. We will have a displays for all regional events and are putting together a slideshow with photos so please send them to us here or at [email protected]. We are 4 weeks away from our 40th Relay For Life celebration where we will come together to Celebrate, Remember and Fight Back together as a region. During this special 80s themed evening we invite all current and former Relay For Life volunteers, participants, teams, survivors, caregivers, sponsors and supporters to join us at the Kingsport Farmers Market as we celebrate the impact the American Cancer Society Relay For Life has had in Northeast Tennessee and Southwest Virginia.

Come see old Relay friends, participate in a celebratory Survivor or Caregiver Lap around our "Track", decorate a Luminaria, enjoy looking at photos and memories from events across the region, come dressed in your 80s best or favorite legacy Relay gear for contests and our 80s Disco, and enjoy an optional dinner and 40th Anniversary/Birthday cake with us! Invite your friends, invite your family and come ready for some fun ACS and 80s Trivia and SINGO with prizes! Today is the day! We are excited to see everyone and hope that includes YOU!! We invite everyone to join us from 3-6:30 at Kingsport Farmers Market for Relay For Life of Kingsport/Tri-Cities Festival of Hope & Cancer Survivor Celebration. We have a great band Some Old Friends providing music, some great vendors and community partners, yummy treats from I scream ICE CREAM, and fun for all ages.

3:00 pm - Celebration of Hope opening with Cancer Survivor & Caregiver recognition
3:30 - 5:30- activities, games, music, and fun for all
5:30 pm - Luminaria Ceremony
6:15 pm - Kicking off the 40th RFL anniversary in 2025

The weather for Sunday is looking to be a beautiful fall afternoon! We are looking forward to seeing you at the Relay For Life of Kingsport/Tri-Cities Festival of Hope & Cancer Survivor Celebration at Kingsport Farmers Market from 3-6:30 p.m.

All Cancer Survivors are encouraged to register for their free Survivor shirt! A survivor is anyone who has ever had a diagnosis of cancer---the first breath you take after those words makes you a survivor. We invite all cancer survivors of all cancers to join us for the Celebration and Recognition at 3 p.m.! Friends and family are encouraged to come join in the celebration and Caregiver Recognition at 3:30 p.m!

Light up your community and honor every life touched by cancer. Dedicate a Luminaria to a loved one lost, someone currently battling, or anyone who has overcome cancer.

Each Luminaria is $5/donation and bags are available to decorate before the event by contacting us or picking up on Broad Street and at meetings. Personalized Tribute Signs are available for $25 that will line our route and track.
