Congratulations!

Congratulations to the Village of Kingsley on becoming the 89th municipality in Michigan to receive Redevelopment Ready Communities (RRC) certification.

This designation means the Village has worked to make its development processes more transparent, predictable, and efficient for businesses, developers, and investors. The voluntary certification, administered by the Michigan Economic Development Corporation, recognizes communities that are proactive, business-friendly, and prepared for future investment.

Located in Paradise Township at the southern edge of Grand Traverse County, the Village of Kingsley is known as “A Little Bit of Paradise.” Home to approximately 1,500 residents, Kingsley is continuing to invest in the future of its downtown and broader community development efforts.

Today, we pause to remember and honor the brave men and women who gave their lives in service to our country. ❤️🤍💙

We are also incredibly proud to see members of our local NJROTC representing our community in the National Memorial Day Parade today. Many of these students are familiar faces here at The Rock, and it has been an honor watching them grow into strong, respectful, service-minded young leaders.

Through volunteer projects, community partnerships, and everyday moments, we have seen firsthand the dedication and character these students carry with them. Seeing them participate in such a meaningful event on Memorial Day is something truly special.

Please join us in honoring those who made the ultimate sacrifice, while also encouraging the next generation who continue to serve their communities with pride and integrity.

Here's what's happening this week at KBL! We are CLOSED MONDAY 5/25 for Memorial Day. We've got both book clubs meeting on Wednesday (The Deadly Desperados at 2:00 p.m.) and Thursday (A Court of Wings and Ruin at 5:30 p.m.) Hope to see you there!
