I do this every day, and I’m proud to be called a Librarian. Libraries are so much more than books. We are a community hub. We service our underserviced, we keep food in our kitchen for those who tell us they’re hungry. We talk endlessly with those whom are lonely. We know the special needs of our patrons, and we accommodate them. We provide a safe place for those who need to congregate.
We are more than just books, we are the internet to those whom can’t access it.
