Today is World Bee Day!
By observing World Bee Day each year, we raise awareness of the vital role bees and other pollinators play in keeping people and the planet healthy, while highlighting the challenges they face today. This day has encouraged individuals, communities, and organizations to support pollinators, protect their habitats, and promote sustainable beekeeping practices.

World Bee Day 2026 Theme
Bee together for people and the planet : A partnership that sustains us all

The 2026 theme focuses on the long-standing relationship between people and bees, and how beekeeping continues to support food systems, livelihoods, and the environment across cultures and communities worldwide. It highlights both traditional knowledge and modern innovations that improve bee health, strengthen sustainable beekeeping, and support beekeepers, including women and youth. The theme also emphasizes the importance of partnerships and inclusive approaches in creating a sustainable future for pollinators, people, and global food systems.

We wanted to highlight other ways, besides beekeeping, that humans can support bees; check them out!
