The Iron-Mountain Kingsford Community Federal Credit Union has been serving the Iron Mountain-Kingsford area for the last 74 years. We are member-owned and not-for-profit financial institution located in Kingsford, MI. We started in 1948 as the Ford Iron Mountain Employees Federal Credit Union, with an original charter of seven members. In 1952, the Ford Motor Company left the area and the Credit Union extended its charter to the community, becoming the Iron Mountain-Kingsford Community Federal Credit Union. In 1984, we merged with the Lake Shore Employees Credit Union, expanding our credit union family. We are currently serving over 13,500 members in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan and Northeast Wisconsin.

Our core processor emailed us this morning that they are now working on restoring all digital services. We had to complete all core services first before this could be addressed. I apologize for the inconvenience. We are hoping for digital restoration today 😊

We have been working all day on putting this weeks manual transactions on the system and are nearing completion.

If you have questions regarding the credit union, we are happy to answer a private message. If you have questions regarding your own information, you will need to call us so that we may verify your identity.

We recognize this has been a very hard week for our members. We are so happy to start afresh on Monday and address all of your concerns. Transactions will also be able to be completed in real-time once again. Online services should be restored next. Thank you for your patience and membership.
