🇺🇸 Our City crew has been hard at work hanging the Veterans Banners throughout Kingman ahead of Memorial Day. A big thank you to our line crew for the time and care they put into honoring the men and women who have served our country. ❤️🤍💙

The deadline to have banners installed in time for Memorial Day has now passed, but applications are accepted year-round for future display periods. The Veterans Banner Program continues to grow, helping us celebrate and preserve the stories of local veterans for generations to come.

We also invite everyone to explore our new Veterans Stories page, where you can read and learn more about the veterans featured in the program:

Thank you to everyone who has supported this program and helped honor our veterans in such a meaningful way. 🇺🇸

💁 Who wants to serve the community of Kingman and/or get a free jumpstart in a new career?

In EMS, learning never stops. Every call, every training, and every continuing education class helps providers sharpen their skills and deliver the best possible care to their communities.

Continued education is critical in EMS because medicine is constantly evolving. New treatments, new equipment, and new research mean providers must stay prepared for whatever emergency comes next. Training keeps our crews confident, knowledgeable, and ready to respond when seconds matter most. Tomorrow providers will have training where we will walk through various scenarios and challenges.

Just as important is investing in the next generation of EMS professionals. Today’s students and new providers are tomorrow’s leaders, educators, and lifesavers. By mentoring, teaching, and supporting future EMS personnel, we help strengthen the future of emergency medical services for our entire community. Kingman EMS will be holding an information session for a fall EMT course on June 4th. We will talk about the upcoming class and answer any questions for those interested in learning more about EMS and how to get started.

To all EMS educators, preceptors, training officers, and providers who take the time to teach others — thank you for helping shape the future of EMS. 🚑💙

What’s Included?

Eligible participants may receive incentives such as:
• A free residential lot to build a new home
• Financial assistance to help with relocation expenses
• Community perks and local partner incentives
• Connections to local employers and opportunities

Kingman’s program is built around the idea that rural communities can compete for talent by offering affordability, opportunity, and quality of life.

Water Shut-Off Alert: As our B Ave Culvert project continues, crews will need to shut off the water for the businesses and residences shaded in red on April 29, 2026 starting at 8a. We hope to have services restored by 3pm. Unfortunately, the type of maintenance being performed will cause the need for a boil water advisory following the maintenance.
