Town of Kingfield Local Grant Funds:
TIF Grant funds are available for (profit and non-profit) businesses in the Town of Kingfield. Application must be submitted on the Second Friday in July or the Second Friday in January. Applications will be considered on a first-come, first-serve basis. Applicants must provide a match (cash or in kind) of at least 10% of the total grant award. The Kingfield School Board Directors created an exit survey for all towns in the MSAD #58 District to provide opinions on the budget. Kingfield residents were provided with the survey at the polls on June 9th.
The results were as follows:
66 wanted the budget to go higher - 27.5%
74 agreed with where the budget is now - 30.8%
100 wanted the budget to go lower - 41.6%

The Kingfield School Options Committee will be meeting via Zoom tonight, Monday June 15th at 4 pm for an Emergency Executive Session - Pursuant to 1 M.R.S.A. 405(6)(C) - discussion on acquisition of real and personal property known in part as MSAD #58. Webster Hall is not available and we didn't learn of the meeting until Friday afternoon.
