KGCS Family ~

KGEF's FoxSmart Center began relocating from the old VoTech building earlier this week. We anticipate the move/reorganizing process will take approximately 2–3 weeks to complete.

During this transition, FoxSmart will have limited capacity to fulfill supply requests. We kindly ask for everyone’s patience and understanding as we work through this process.

KGEF will continue to share updates as they become available. Thank you for your cooperation and support during this time.

Thank you Major Callahan, MSgt Helker & the KGHS NJROTC Team for doing an awesome job moving our entire inventory .... ❤️

💡 Empowering the Next Generation of Community Leaders 💡
Through the Youth in Philanthropy (YIP) program, students gain hands-on experience in grantmaking, nonprofit evaluation, and community leadership—learning firsthand how philanthropy can create meaningful change. Each year, participants work together to identify community needs, review nonprofit proposals, and recommend funding to organizations making a difference right here at home.
YIP not only supports local nonprofits—it equips young leaders with the skills, confidence, and civic awareness to become thoughtful changemakers for life. By investing in youth leadership today, we’re building a stronger, more engaged community for tomorrow.

As many of you may have heard, KGEF is in the process of transitioning FoxSmart to a new location pending demolition of the VoTech building.

KGEF supports our teachers and students through a variety of impactful programs (FoxSmart, STEM and Innovation Grants). One such program is FoxSmart, which is currently located at the VoTech building on the KGMS campus. FoxSmart coordinates monetary/in-kind donations from community members, churches, contractors, clubs, fulfilling requests, serving all five KGC schools ..... from teachers, counselors, nurses and families for much-needed school supplies. Since its inception in 2018, the program has successfully fulfilled over 1,700 requests!

In addition to relocating, we have upcoming Board member vacancies and the need for new volunteers to assist with communication, outreach, fund raising and website maintenance.

If you would like to help continue KGEF's important work and learn more about our opportunities and/or programs, please contact Chris Buck at [email protected] ...... Thank You❣️
