Some of our 5th graders created probability games that they got to share with other students this week. As the students played the games, the 5th graders were collecting data to use later. What a fun way to learn about probability!

Congratulations to Sealton, Potomac, and King George Elementary Schools for being recognized as Heart of Gold Schools for ranking among the Top 25 schools in Virginia in the American Heart Association’s Kids Heart Challenge!

We also celebrate Dr. Boyd, who was recognized as a Heart of Gold Superintendent for his leadership and support of this important initiative.

Making the celebration even more special was KGES student and local Heart Hero, Lenny, who joined in presenting the awards! Lenny’s courage and heart-centered spirit are a wonderful reminder of the impact our students can have on others.

We are so proud of our schools, students, families, and staff for coming together to support heart health and make a difference in our community!
