The Wheat Harvest Festival is right around the corner!

 We look forward to joining our community partners in this annual celebration of Community and our farming heritage.

The King Ferry Fire Department’s “Chuck Wagon Gang” will be up bright and early on Saturday morning, firing up the barbecue so our mouthwatering chicken will be available for you at the festival after the parade at about 11 AM.

 Look for our fire apparatus in the parade lineup as well.

King Ferry Fire Department provided mutually to Genoa Volunteer Fire Department, New York.

We are pleased that early detection, prompt notification and efforts by the property owner and staff to confinethe fire until fire units arrived help result in a most favorable outcome.

Smoke from the Canadian wildfires will be impacting our air quality for at least the next couple of days.

Staffing our station in the event of additional alarms while other King Ferry Fire Department units were assisting Genoa Volunteer Fire Department, New York on a fire call, members use the opportunity to tend to our flower bed surrounding our digital sign.

Karen Philip, our green thumb, who does the planting and watering was assisted by Joe Philip and Michele Shaw.

We hope ilthat the community and pasers-by enjoy our summer plantings.

Providing Mutual Aid to Aurora Volunteer Fire Department Monday evening King Ferry Fire Department provided water via our Tanker/Pumper and assisted with traffic control on Route 90 North, among other duties.
