Today, officers from the California Highway Patrol – King City Area responded to multiple calls from concerned motorists reporting a group of high-end luxury vehicles driving recklessly and at high speeds through the area.

Officers quickly located the vehicles and conducted enforcement stops for speed and equipment violations. Several citations were issued as a result of the enforcement action.

While high-performance vehicles may be built for speed, our public roadways are not racetracks. Reckless driving endangers everyone on the road — families, commuters, and fellow motorists. The California Highway Patrol has zero tolerance for dangerous driving behaviors.

We appreciate the members of the public who called in to report this dangerous activity. Your partnership helps us keep our roadways safe.

Drive responsibly. Slow down. Arrive alive.
