LIFE SAVING AWARD

MAYOR, ALDERMAN AND CITIZENS OF KILLIAN,
On November 8th Officer Percy Brown responded to a call, in the Town of Killian, regarding a drug overdose. Upon his arrival, Officer Brown encountered a male who was going in and out of consciousness. The male then became unresponsive. Officer Brown had been equipped with Narcan, so he administered a dose and was able revive the individual. Paramedics assisted Officer Brown as the male made a full recovery. Let us now recognize Officer Brown’s professionalism, preparedness and training which allowed him to save the life of one of our citizens.

*14:102.1 Cruelty to Animals
*40:967.C Poss of Sch 2 - Methamphetamine
*40:1023 poss of drug paraphernalia
*Fugitive LPSO

KPD was evaluating a blighted property and found two dogs in terrible conditions. The owner would not answer the door and Animal Control was kind enough to come take the dogs to their shelter. KPD will not tolerate this behavior, the owner is known and will be cited!!!
