Good morning KPD Explorers Supporters! It's a new year! Keep a lookout for community events, fundraisers, competitions, and so much training! If you know of any teenagers that is atleast age 14 years old, 9th grade, able to maintain good grades in school, with a clean background, and a desire and drive to learn about law enforcement, we are always accepting new recruits. Killeen Police Explorers Post 277 at their 7th Annual Awards Banquet. All the trophies are from this year. The Explorers had a great year. We lost some our Explorers earlier this year who have been in the program for a long time. They moved on to college or moved away. Good luck to y'all. This group managed and they have ended this night with over a combined 3,000 community hours. Great job to all!

After a long year of training, meetings and competitions, our explorers prepare to say goodbye to 2018 and welcome 2019. Tonight is the one night we can let our hair down and enjoy our Christmas party. A huge thanks to each and every explorer, their wonderful and supportive parents, each advisor and officers that help train us, not only within Killeen PD, but other agencies as well.
