Also want to show some love to Lupita Reyes for helping out with the activity booth. I know "kids" of all ages enjoyed making masks and more. Jose Hernandez for sharing his artwork for display. Shoemaker Highschool for the awesome calaveritas for the altar.

Words cannot express how grateful we are to everyone who helped make yesterday a success. CTC, Kerstin, Barbara, Mark and others, thank you very the opportunity to work together and all of the hands on work you provided such as promotion, decorating, and location. Jessica with Conexiones Latino for promotion and prizes. Livier Lazaro and Ballet Folklorico Alegria for a great show. Danza Guadalupana, you guys led the way! LULAC Council 4535 for the support of a small idea that turned into a great event. Bush's Chicken and Walmart for dontations. All of the vendors and participants. Thank all of you.

We have added a costume contest to the event! Costume must be Dia de los Mu***os themed. Sign up will begin at 4:15 pm and judging will be at 6:00 pm.

The new date for the Calaveritas fest has moved to 2 November 2011. Locations will be at the Central Texas College in Killeen, TX. We are now looking for procession participants, vendors, sponsors, volunteers, and entertainment... contact calaveritasfest@gmail for more information.
