The results are in from the First Annual Keystone Senior Center Cookoff!!

First, thank you to everyone for coming out and judging the competition! You all took your responsibilities very seriously!

We had eight entries that ranged from mild to spicy chili and even a chicken chili.

The results are:

First Place: Sherry Smith with her burn-your-lips spicy chili

Second Place: Steve Dalton with his authentic Texas chili (also spicy!)

Third Place: Paula Cottrell with her white-ish chicken chili

It was a close competition between 1st and 2nd place with only a three vote difference!

Thank you to everyone for coming out and having fun with us! We appreciate all of your donations and cinnamon roll and hot dog purchases which go directly to the Senior Center activity fund!

We will see you same time, same place next year when we will see who can dethrone our Chili Champion, Sherry Smith! 🌶️♥️😀

Join us for a month of fun starting with Easter Sunday Brunch this Sunday!

Superbowl watch party this Sunday at the Keystone SD Senior Center & Social Club. Bring your favorite dish and join us at 3pm to watch the big game!

We will also have the games out so if you are not into the football game, come on by and try your hand at some Rumikube, Yahtzee or another fun game on hand.

Thank you, Keystone Community! Another successful Sunday Brunch in the books!

Besides having the best dressed citizen in attendance, thanks to everyone’s donations today, we were able to raise $250 for Rick who recently list everything in a fire.

The Stars and Stripes Charitable Alliance matched those funds for an additional $250 which we dropped off with some other community donations.

Thank you to Scott Rainford, Loyd Pike and Paula Cottrell for preparing today’s meal. Thank you Nicki Burke for all of your help! We could not have done it without you.

We look forward to serving you next month on the first Sunday in March! 😀
