There are only 27 days until election day. Vote for Democrats to make Florida more affordable again. “As of August 2026, the average household in Florida has had to pay an additional $3,700+ for goods and services due to rising costs under President Trump.”

Florida families pay an additional $791 on housing costs.

Ground beef has risen to more than $7 per pound.

Monroe county residents pay $4.48 a gallon for gas. The average price of gas in Florida a year ago was $2.99 a gallon.

Vote out Republicans who have done nothing to support working families.

The impact of Amendment 3 on Monroe County will be devastating. “$39.7 million in funding at risk for the residents of Monroe County over the first two years under Amendment 3.” Funds will be cut from law enforcement, fire and rescue & EMS, mosquito control, conservation and water management, and public hospitals. This will force the county and municipalities to raise money elsewhere through other taxes and fees that might not make up the difference. This amendment is a property tax ponzi scheme by the Republicans. Don’t fall for it. Vote NO on Amendment 3.

There are only 29 days until election day. Make a voting plan. Vote No on Amendment 3. This amendment will take away local budget control and is a tax bait and switch that will defund the police, healthcare, child services, affordable housing, and other critical services. This is falsely promoted as a way to reduce people’s taxes. It will NOT. Taxes and fees in other areas will increase.

“In the first year of Amendment 3 being in effect, fire and ambulance services in the Lower Keys would have an estimated shortfall of $430,287. The following year it would rise to $606,572, according to a presentation given by Quinn. From there it is likely to go up even more if tax rates are not increased to offset the lost revenue.”
