It’s Fire Prevention Week, and October is Fire Prevention Month.

The City of Key West proudly joined the Key West Fire Department in recognizing the importance of simple steps that can help prevent fires at home.

This year’s message focuses on safe charging habits 🔌 Use listed chargers and cords, plug devices directly into a wall outlet, inspect cords for damage, and unplug devices once they’re fully charged or before heading to bed.

A safer Key West starts at home.
