September is Library Card sign up month! The display at the Key Largo Library Branch has some cool facts about the books, like how many times they have checked out on your free bookmark! Today's cool fact is that the Dog Man books, a popular comedic graphic novel series created by author and illustrator Dav Pilkey, have checked out over 6,420 times! This means if you multiply that by the cost of the books and divide it by the average dog bone price our Library Cards have saved the cost of over 1.2 million dog bones! That is a lot of happy Monroe County dogs.
If you would like to check out what Dog Man books we have search our catalog on our website, keyslibraries.org
