PARKS/PUBLIC WORKS SEASONAL EMPLOYMENT

The City of Kewaunee is accepting applications for seasonal employment. Work will be performed in the Parks, Water, Wastewater, and Public Works departments.

Duties: Under general supervision, these positions perform a variety of manual labor activities such as: (1) landscaping, mowing, raking, tree pruning, trimming and weeding; (2) maintaining equipment, park shelters, playgrounds and performing janitorial duties such as cleaning, removing garbage, and tasks like painting, stocking supplies, and other related duties in and around City parks; (3) maintaining streetscapes including sidewalks by patching, painting, digging, lifting, shoveling, carrying and hauling heavy equipment and tools to perform duties, driving a pick-up truck, and other maintenance activities assigned.

Special Notes: Applicant must be available to work 30-40 hours a week. Typical work schedule will be Monday-Thursday 6:30AM-4:00PM and 6:30AM-10:30AM on Friday. A valid drivers license is preferred. Pay range is $12.50-$15.50 per hour.
