2026 Dancing with the Kettering Stars: Meet Krysti Jordan!

She spends her days managing risk but agreeing to dance in front of judges and a live audience? That might be her riskiest decision yet! Meet Krysti Jordan!

Krysti is the Executive Director of Enterprise Risk Management for Kettering Health, where she has spent the past 15 years helping strengthen the organization’s ability to provide safe, high-quality care. With a master’s degree in health sciences and a passion for serving others, she takes great pride in the important work happening behind the scenes to support patients and the community.

When she’s not managing risk, Krysti stays busy with her son, Broc, and her two Goldendoodles, Lucy and Desi who apparently have yet to complete a risk assessment before making questionable decisions. She also loves traveling, tackling ambitious DIY projects, shopping and spending time with family.

But Krysti may have an advantage when it comes time to hit the dance floor! She grew up as a competitive tap, ballet and jazz dancer at Vicki Jo’s Dance Studio. It may have been a few years since she laced up her dance shoes, but she’s ready to see just how much of that muscle memory remains.

Her personal motto says it all: “What’s the best that could happen?!”

Krysti is excited to take this leap in support of the Kettering Police Foundation and hopes the night is filled with plenty of laughter, a few surprises and maybe even some dance moves from her Vicki Jo days.

After all… what’s the best that could happen?!

2026 Dancing with the Kettering Stars: Meet Julie Bodem Maggs!

From the classroom to the dance floor, lifelong Kettering resident Julie Bodem Maggs is ready to show us her moves!

Julie was born and raised in Kettering and graduated from Kettering Fairmont High School in 1986. After earning her elementary education degree and master’s degree in curriculum and development from Wright State University, she returned to her hometown to begin a career dedicated to Kettering students.

Julie joined Prass Elementary in 1991 and has spent more than three decades teaching, mostly first grade and making a difference in the lives of generations of Firebirds.

Kettering is truly home for Julie and her family. She and her husband, Paul, recently celebrated 31 years of marriage and raised their two sons, Jake and Nick, right here in the community. Julie especially treasures time with her family, including weekly family dinners, as well as reading, walking and bike riding.

And Julie isn’t exactly a stranger to the dance floor! She previously took and taught dance at Terre’s Dance Workshop right here in Kettering. Now she’s hoping to dust off those skills and see just how much she remembers!

Julie is excited to participate in 2026 Dancing with the Kettering Stars and support the Kettering Police Foundation. As a longtime educator, she believes strongly in the importance of the partnership between the Kettering Police Department and Kettering Schools.

We have a feeling those former dance skills are going to come back quickly.

2026 Dancing with the Kettering Stars: Meet Holly Protsman!

A little dance experience, a lot of enthusiasm and plenty of personality—meet Holly Protsman!

Holly is an Executive Neuroscience Sales Specialist with Acadia Pharmaceuticals, a graduate of Ohio Northern University and the University of Dayton, and a proud Kettering resident for the past 11 years.

She and her husband, Chip, have been married for 25 years and are the proud parents of Ethan, Reagan and Addison. When she’s not working or spending time with family and friends, Holly enjoys traveling and golfing.

But here’s where things get interesting… Holly spent much of her childhood in the dance studio and developed a special love for tap dancing! While it’s been a few years since her last recital, she’s counting on muscle memory to kick in when she hits the dance floor.

As for the judges? Holly is hoping they’ll focus a little more on enthusiasm than technique and she’d like to remind everyone that any score below a 10 could make for an uncomfortable ride home for at least one member of the judging panel.

Holly is thrilled to participate in 2026 Dancing with the Kettering Stars in support of the Kettering Police Foundation and the important work it does for our community and first responders.

Most importantly, she’s ready to prove that it’s never too late to dust off your dancing shoes!
