Big news for Platte Valley Middle School FFA! Mesa Arnold and Luke Larson have been named national finalists in the 2026 National FFA Agriscience Fair! Mesa is a finalist in the Social Science category and Luke is a finalist in Animal Systems. Their projects were selected from state-level winners across the country, with national judges narrowing the field to a maximum of ten finalists in each category and division.

We are incredibly proud of Mesa and Luke and the hard work and dedication they have put into their projects! They will compete at the National FFA Convention & Expo in Indianapolis in October! Congratulations, Mesa and Luke! We’ll be cheering you on at Nationals!

The first day of school is in the books! Yesterday we officially kicked off the 2026-27 school year across Platte Valley School District! And of course, we had to document an important milestone: the first-ever class picture of the Platte Valley Class of 2030! Here’s to a great year ahead Broncos!

COMMUNITY HELP: Following the Platte Valley Middle School Open House, we are hoping our community can help us locate two items that are important to our school and Ag program:

• The Original Vocational Ag Sign: A piece of Platte Valley history
• A Blue Tractor Stool: A stool repaired by a student last year and a meaningful piece of our Ag shop

It’s possible these items were accidentally taken home during the Open House. If you have either item, please contact the Platte Valley Middle School office at (970) 336-8600. We would greatly appreciate having these pieces returned so they can continue to be part of the school for years to come. Thank you to our community for your help!

TOMORROW - we are celebrating our PV teachers on the first day of school. Our baristas have hand made a limited number of keychains for the first teachers to grab a coffee and request a keychain!
