Eastern Colorado IMT

Eastern Colorado IMT The ECIMT is one of four certified Type 3 Incident Management Teams supporting citizens and visitors of the State of Colorado.

The ECIMT is designed to be a support function for local agencies and municipalities when they request assistance managing large incidents or multiple incidents that tap their resources and exceed their span of control. The ECIMT also provides training and classes to help build relationships within organizations. The ECIMT can be offered up as a single resource request filling only the needed posi

tions of the requesting agency, or as the entire team resource when needed filing all positions in the Command and General Staff model.

Yesterday, members of the ECIMT came together for a full day of team building and collaboration. Our team reorganized the original equipment trailer and completed the build-out and organization of our new trailer.

We’ve officially outgrown our original trailer, and thanks to a competitive grant from DHSEM, we were able to purchase a new one to support our expanding operations.

A huge thank-you to TrailerPlus in Fort Collins for providing us with the new trailer, and to Camping World in Longmont for their outstanding work installing the lighting and electrical systems. We also appreciate Concept Signs for their excellent design and branding work, and Firehouse Subs for keeping our team well-fed during the day!

ECIMT now has trailers strategically placed across Northern and Southern Colorado, helping us respond more effectively wherever we’re needed.

ECIMT sends our condolences the the members of Platteville-Gilcrest Fire and Paramedic Klimek family.

It is with heartfelt sadness that we announce the passing of Platteville Gilcrest Fire Protection District Member Paramedic Nate Klimek who passed away on Monday, April 28, 2025. Paramedic Klimek was well loved within our agency and had been a valued team member and will be greatly missed.

He leaves behind a wife and three children. Please keep his family in your thoughts and prayers as they go through this difficult time.

We kindly ask that the privacy of the family is respected during this time of mourning and grief.
