It's here! Election Day is tomorrow!! Polls will open at 7:00 a.m. and will remain open until 7:00 p.m. If for some reason (inclement weather) your polling location is not open at 7:00 a.m., please contact the voter registration department at 830-792-2242 to see if the location will be extending the hours so that everyone is able to vote. Thank you all in for your support throughout this time. It has been exciting, fun, challenging, and difficult, all at the same time. Also, if you have questions as to where your voting location is, contact the voter registration department. The ladies there are a great help! Let's make a difference and get out there and vote! Everyone counts!

Thank you all who came out and joined in the fun yesterday! It was a great day with good food, fun, friends, and family. It's nice to do something for the community. I hope you all enjoyed it as much as I did. Please remember, early voting starts February 18th and runs through February 28th. It will be every week day, from 8:00am to 5:00pm. Election day is March 4th and polling locations will be open from 7am to 7pm. If you have any questions, please let me know.

Well, it's been a long road, and we're coming down to the end of the wire. Please remember that tomorrow, Monday, February 3rd, is the last day to register to vote. You can take your ID to the Kerr County Tax Assessor's Office at the Courthouse and see the ladies in the Voter Registration Department. You may also call 792-2242 for information. Thank you all for the support and let's get out there and vote!

For any and all who attended the RWKC forum on Saturday, please provide me with some feedback so that I may improve for the next time. It was my first time, ever, public speaking and I need to have some feedback so that I may better myself and be understood clearly by the public. We lost a very amazing and wonderful (to me) man today. The Honorable Pat Tinley. He was a great mentor to me, and will continue to have influence in my life on a daily basis. The things he's taught me you cannot find in a book. He was my hand, when I needed one, my strength when I thought I had none, my audience when I thought I needed one, and my teacher always. He made a big impact in my life and is irreplaceable to me. He was one person that was like no other, but one person that all others would like to imitate. He set a great example for people, and me, to follow, and I will always remember that. He was very loved, very appreciated, and will be dearly missed. One truly amazing man.

For all of you that will be out of town, are over 65, or are disabled, here is some information that will be useful and will allow you to be able to cast your vote in the upcoming election.

Requests for an Application for Ballot by Mail will be accepted starting tomorrow, Friday, January 3, 2014. You may send your request to: [email protected] or you can call 830-792-2245.

If you email your request, please be sure to include your name, phone number, date of birth, mailing address, and specify Republican or Democrat. **If the mailing address is out of State or out of the Country, please include the dates that you will be at this address.

You may also follow the link I have provided to print an Application for Ballot by Mail and find out more information. If you have any questions, please contact the Kerr County Voter Registration Department at 830-792-2245 or you may email them to [email protected]
