The City intends to continue to use it for this purpose. However, based upon the consistent use of that information, through comments and other responses, the City believes its information is being intentionally misconstrued, manipulated, or used in ways that confuse the information provided. In addition, a significant amount of activity on the City’s sites include comments and other responses that seem to be intentionally divisive, take away from the purpose of the public information, are entirely irrelevant, and frankly, have no public purpose. Thus, to ensure clarity of its communications, the City has chosen to discontinue the ability to respond to its posts. The City may revisit this issue in the future.

Bark in the Park was a success!

It was so much fun to see our community come together to celebrate all things dogs. A huge thank-you to our event partner, Kerrville Pets Alive!, for helping bring this event to life, and to all the amazing vendors, organizations, and community partners who came out and made the day so special. Our pup community is lucky to have such incredible support.

Looking to add a furry friend to your family? Our local shelters are full of dogs looking for their forever homes, and there are plenty of opportunities to foster and make a difference without
a lifelong commitment. Consider checking out our local shelters and rescue organizations to see how you can help!

SEPTEMBER 11 — WE WILL NEVER FORGET

On Sept. 11, 2001, nearly 3,000 lives were lost in terrorist attacks in New York City, at the Pentagon, and near Shanksville, Pennsylvania. In the face of unimaginable tragedy, Americans also witnessed extraordinary courage, sacrifice and unity as first responders, service members and ordinary citizens rushed to help others.

Today, the City of Kerrville joins communities across our nation in honoring the lives lost, the heroes who answered the call, and the families whose lives were forever changed.

May we continue to remember those we lost and the strength and unity our nation showed in the days that followed.

We will never forget.

We're growing something special at Kerrville-Schreiner Park!🌱

Our Pollinator Garden in Kerrville-Schreiner Park is more than just a pretty spot in the park. It provides an important habitat for bees, butterflies, and other pollinators while showcasing native plants that thrive in the Hill Country. A special thank you to the Texas Master Naturalists who volunteer every Thursday to help care for and maintain the garden. Their time, knowledge, and dedication help keep this little piece of KSP growing.

Next time you’re at the park, stop by the Pollinator Garden and take a look at what’s buzzing. To secure your day pass, annual pass, or to book your stay, visit www.kerrvilletx.gov/camp or call (830) 257-7300.

Supertri Kerrville 2026, scheduled for September 26–27, has been canceled.

After carefully evaluating the conditions, Supertri determined that significant flood damage has left portions of the race course, transition area, and finish area unsafe for participants. Alternative courses and venues were explored but ultimately were not feasible within the available time frame. The Kerrville Parks and Recreation Department appreciates Supertri's continued partnership and understands the difficult decision. We look forward to welcoming athletes back to Kerrville in 2027.

Registered participants will receive additional information directly from Supertri regarding their available options, including:
• Deferring their registration to Supertri Kerrville 2027
• Transferring their registration to another Supertri event on the 2027 calendar at no additional cost
• Requesting a refund

For more information, participant updates, or to contact the Supertri team directly, please visit www.supertri.com/kerrville-triathlon/
