Dear Abington Pool Members,
As another pool season comes to a close, we want to extend our thanks to everyone who helped make 2026 such a great year at Abington Swim Club.
Abington Pool is more than a place to swim. It is a place where families spend summer afternoons together, children make friends, neighbors get to know one another, and our community comes together. Having a neighborhood pool is something special, and something worth preserving.
We are grateful that so many of you chose to make Abington part of your summer. Your memberships, your participation, and your support are what allow us to keep providing a safe, fun, welcoming place for our families.
As we begin planning for the 2027 season, we want to build on what makes Abington special. We will be looking for ways to improve the pool experience, increase participation, and make the most of this wonderful community resource.
Our goal for 2027 is not simply to open the pool. It is to make Abington a place our members want to return to year after year. That starts with membership.
The strength of a neighborhood pool depends on the people who use it and support it. Every membership helps us maintain the facility, plan improvements, and keep this community tradition going. If you enjoyed having a pool just minutes from your home this summer, we hope you will consider renewing your membership and encouraging your neighbors to join as well.
We would love to see Abington grow in 2027 and become an even stronger part of our community.
Join the Abington Pool Board
We currently have one position available on the Abington Pool Board. This is a volunteer opportunity for an Abington member who would like to have a voice in the future of our pool and help shape improvements, events, and plans for the 2027 season.
If you are interested in serving, or know another member who would be a great fit, please respond to [email protected] with your nomination by September 20th. You are welcome to nominate yourself or another Abington Pool member.
