We will be closing the pool on schedule this year. Hope you all have had a wonderful season at the pool despite the COVID restrictions.

As we have communicated previously, this is the last season that Ken and I are managing the pool. We have considered it an honor to provide this service to our community. We are excited that several pool members have stepped up to take on the tasks involved with managing the pool so that it will continue in our absence.

I have made the final move to Florida and regret not having the opportunity to say goodbye to most of you. It has been difficult to leave my home and community of the past 25 years. I will be back to visit and hope to catch up with you then.

Ken will be closing the pool after Labor Day, so you may see him around.

The Hidden Hills Pool will open as scheduled on Saturday, May 23, at noon. As a result of several days of rain, we have just a few last minute things to accomplish before opening. We should get those things done first thing in the morning.

Looks like it is going to be a nice day!

You will notice a few changes due the COVID-19 pandemic. The chairs are spaced further apart to allow for social distancing. Hand sanitizer will be available as well as a spray solution for chairs. There will be no communal noodles. I will provide more details directly to members through email.

The keys are ready for pick-up if you have joined the pool or plan to join before Friday. Otherwise, keys will not be available until after June 7.

The pool is scheduled to open May 23. The deadline to receive the discounted rate is April 15.

I want to respond to a question I have had related to COVID-19. I understand these are uncertain times in regard to the social distancing. If for some reason the pool is delayed from opening due to COVID-19, your membership would be prorated accordingly. If, for example, you joined during the $375 discount timeframe and the rate for that time period were determined to average $25/week and the pool were delayed from opening for two weeks, you would be refunded $50.

Who anticipated this hot weather? Not me, but I am happy to report that the pool remains open. Official last day for this season is Sunday, September 30. Enjoy!!

As the weather forecast indicates that it will still be in the mid eighties through the coming weekend, we plan on keeping the pool open again. Whoop whoop! What a great summer it has been.
