Caltrans announces upcoming State Route 180 Rumble Strip Project beginning June 25, 2026.

FRESNO COUNTY — The Department of Transportation (Caltrans), in cooperation with Pave Tech Inc., announces the State Route 180 Rumble Strip Project in Fresno County to begin Thursday, June 25th, 2026.

This project will install rumble strip along State Route 180 in Fresno County between just east of Blythe Avenue and just east of Goldenrod Avenue, and Modoc Avenue and Belmont Avenue.

The rumble strips will be installed along the shoulder and centerline throughout the project limits and are designed to alert distracted drivers and prevent roadway departures.

Caltrans reminds you to drive with extra care and allow additional travel time while travelling in the construction area. Please be alert for Road Construction Personnel and “Slow for the Cone Zone.”

Traffic Advisory - Construction Detours

Please be advised of the road closure that will be in place for the off-site road closure on Kearney Blvd, just west of Siskiyou Ave, for Tract 6447 beginning on Monday, June 8.

Message boards have been up since Monday, June 1, of this week to notify residents of this closure.

Crawford Construction has distributed notices to residents just south of Kearney Blvd on Kenneth and neighboring streets.
