MHSAA D1 CHAMPIONS!

Our East Kentwood Boys Team came out on top in an incredible meet, winning by 1 point! This is the first state title for our team in 7 years and makes it 9 state titles total for the program!

Join us Monday, June 1 at Millennium Park (The Meadows, 1415 Maynard Ave SW, Walker) for an evening of live jazz! The award-winning East Kentwood High School Jazz 1 opens the West Michigan Jazz Society’s Jazz in the Park series at 6:30 PM, followed by the Michigan School Band and Orchestra Association All-Star Jazz Band featuring many EKHS students. Bring a chair, blanket, and enjoy a relaxed night of music in the park!

Students in the PEAKS Program recently shared their learning during the PBI Innovation Showcase at Discovery Elementary, Glenwood Elementary, and Explorer Elementary! Third graders explored innovators, fourth graders focused on innovations, and fifth graders learned what it means to be innovative. Great job to all of the students for their hard work and thoughtful presentations!

Congratulations to the East Kentwood High School Class of 2026! The graduates took part in a celebratory ceremony last evening in front of a packed house of family, friends, students, and staff at Falcon Stadium. Here is a first round of photos from the event. Graduation begins at 6:00 p.m., and we look forward to honoring our graduates as they celebrate this incredible accomplishment alongside family, friends, and staff.

Crestwood Middle School hosted its 2nd Annual Cultural Festival, celebrating the many cultures and backgrounds represented throughout the school. Centered around the theme “Many Pieces of One,” students and staff created cultural displays that highlighted inclusion, belonging, and unity. The festival featured exciting student performances and a vibrant Global Fashion Show showcasing attire from around the world. Thank you to everyone who helped make this special celebration a success!
