💦 Splash pads are officially closed for the season. Thank you for making this summer one to remember!

🚻 Park bathroom facilities will close for the season on October 1. Please plan accordingly when enjoying our parks and outdoor spaces this fall.

We want to correct an error in the printed and digital versions of the City of Kentwood Parks & Recreation Fall Brochure.

The brochure incorrectly lists the State General Election as Nov. 4.
👉 The correct date is Tuesday, Nov. 3.

The updated digital brochure now includes the correct election date and information. Please refer to the updated version when planning to vote. https://www.kentwood.us/city_services/city_departments/parks_and_recreation/brochure.php

We apologize for the error and appreciate your understanding. We encourage voters to confirm their registration, polling location, and ballot information at michigan.gov/vote.

Stay up to date with Kentwood elections at Kentwood.us/elections and by following the City of Kentwood's social media pages.

Looking back on a memorable evening of community, celebration and impact at the 2026 Vibe!

Last week, Kentwood Parks and Recreation was proud to host the 10th annual Vibe Event: A Fundraiser for Kentwood's Adaptive programming. This was the first event held in the Grove event space at the new Kentwood Community Center and the evening brought community members together to celebrate recreation and support opportunities for individuals of all abilities.

Thanks to the generosity and support of our attendees, funds were raised to support Kentwood Parks and Recreation’s adaptive programming, helping expand inclusive recreation opportunities throughout our community.

We’re grateful to everyone who attended, donated and helped make The Vibe a success inside the new Community Center! Thank you for investing in a more inclusive and connected Kentwood; your kindness helps opportunity grow!

Meet one of Kentwood Parks and Recreation's fall dance instructors: MICHELLE ARANDELA! 💃✨

With 19 years of dance experience, Michelle brings a love of movement and a whole lot of energy to the Kentwood dance program! A recent Grand Valley State University graduate, Michelle has trained in ballet, jazz, hip hop, pom, contemporary, and lyrical, and has spent years performing, choreographing, and teaching technique to young dancers and dance teams throughout Metro Detroit.

This fall, Michelle is bringing her passion for dance to the studio with classes including:

🔥 Teens – Hip Hop Evolution
🎶 Hip Hop Foundations
✨ Dance – K POP
