Vivek Ramaswamy loves to talk about being a man of the people. So let's talk about his people. Elon Musk (his former DOGE boss) donated $5 million to V-PAC, the super PAC backing Ramaswamy's campaign. He's joined by billionaires Jeffrey Yass, Ratmir Timashev, Bill Ackman, and Ross Stevens. Together, those five have given V-PAC a combined $37 million. More than 88% of its total funding. That's not a grassroots campaign. That's a billionaire buying another billionaire a governorship.

Ramaswamy's campaign has also taken roughly $97,000 from utility, gas, oil, and solar PACs during 2026. Amy Acton's campaign received nothing from those PACs. Ramaswamy is promising Ohioans free electricity near data centers. A promise that depends entirely on regulators he would appoint as governor. Meanwhile, all of OUR electric bills are already going up. When billionaires spend $37 million to put someone in the Governor's office, they expect something in return. And it's not free electricity for everyone else.

Amy Acton said it best: Ohio isn't for sale. Vote for Amy Acton in November. 🇺🇸
