Our schools are one of the most important investments our community makes, and the upcoming 2026 EP&O renewal levy will help keep that investment strong.

The Kent School District will be asking voters to replace an existing levy this General Election which was previously approved by the community.
Ballot drop boxes open October 16 and Election Day is November 3rd!
This is not a new tax! The current levy expires December 2027, and this replacement will preserve funding that supports our schools and students.
This funding goes to student programs, textbooks, school safety, bus services, sports, counselors, and more. Without it, our schools face deep cuts.
It helps ensure every child has access to the resources they need to succeed.
Voting Yes means continuing local funding that directly supports students, teachers, and programs not fully paid for by the state.
This includes academic support, athletics, arts, mental health resources, music, safety, and transportation.
This investment touches thousands of students and helps recruit and retain the outstanding teachers and staff who prepare these students for college, careers, and life.
Strong schools support local businesses, strengthen property values, and prepare the next generation of workers and leaders.
Let's renew our commitment to strong schools by voting Yes this election! >> citizensforkentschools.com
This proposal continues a long tradition of local investment in our schools while maintaining one of the lowest school levy rates among neighboring districts.
It's a continued investment in educational opportunities today and in the strength of our community tomorrow.
