The first day of school is tomorrow, Wednesday, September 2! The school day for Evergreen starts at 8:00 am and ends at 2:30 pm. We look forward to seeing everyone back and launching into another year of learning!

School Starts in Two Days!

Hello Evergreen parents and guardians,

As a reminder, the first day of school for grades K-12 is Wednesday, September 2, 2026.

Evergreen’s school day will start at 8:00 am and end at 2:30 pm. We’re excited to welcome your child into our building and get started on a new year of growth and learning.

Below, you will find some information that may be helpful as you get acclimated to the 2026-27 school year:

School Meal Menus
All FWPS students can receive breakfast and lunch every school day at no cost. You can review the meal menus here.

Bus Routes
If you registered your child for bus transportation through the online enrollment and annual verification process, you should have received an email with your child’s bus assignment from our Transportation department. You can also look up your child’s route information here.

Getting to School Safely
The safety of scholars is our top priority. Read this blog post to learn about how we can all contribute to our children arriving safely at school and back home.

Early Release Fridays
Early release days are Fridays, starting Friday, September 18. On early release days, schools are dismissed 75 minutes early. Evergreen will be released at 1:15 pm. If your scholar rides the bus, you can determine their early release drop-off time using this Early Release Bus Stop Time Conversion Chart.

Reminder About Cell Phones and Electronic Devices
Last year we implemented a new cell phone and electronic device policy for grades K-12. Please review these guidelines with your child to promote distraction-free learning. Read this blog post for more information.

Bus Routes are Now Available

Bus routes are now available. If your student has been assigned a bus, you should have received an email from the FWPS Transportation department containing bus route information to include bus route number, bus stop location, and pick-up and drop-off times. Bus information is also available online through the Bus Search Tool.

Remember, all families with students who are eligible for and require bus transportation must register for transportation service through the online enrollment and verification process in August. Failure to complete the transportation registration could potentially delay your student’s access to bus transportation at the start of the school year.

🍎 Free meals for all FWPS scholars!

FWPS will continue to provide breakfast and lunch at no cost to all scholars. While families no longer need to complete a free and reduced-price meal application, completing the Child Nutrition & Education Benefit (CNEEB) Application may help your family qualify for additional benefits, including fee waivers, scholarships, and reduced internet costs.
