Fly high with Jett, our Pet of the Week!

This one-year-old German Shepherd/Labrador Retriever mix girl has a lot of energy. She loves to play! She’s also very smart. At the Pet Adoption Center, she’s been practicing all her best doggie manners, including sit, stay, come, and down.

Jett is very affectionate, and would love to cuddle up with you at home. Since she has so much energy, she does best when she gets lots of exercise and activities to keep her mind busy.

Are you ready to take off with Jett? She is spayed, up to date on vaccinations, and microchipped. Her adoption comes with many benefits, including a $40 credit toward training through our partners at Rover. In addition, all adopters from RASKC can can benefit from enrolling their new pet in Fetch Pet Insurance. Fetch offers the most comprehensive plan in North America with no restrictions on breed, age, or size. Together, we’re making sure pets are happy and healthy in their new forever homes.

We’d love to have you stop by the King County Pet Adoption Center to see all our adorable adoptable animals! We’re located at 21615 64th Ave. S. in Kent. Adoption hours are noon to 5 p.m. weekdays and noon to 4 p.m. weekends.

Don't adjust your monitor - yes, this cat is uʍop ǝpᴉsdn. 😄 The real story here though is the wonderful work that our foster volunteers do, especially at this time of year when we see a lot of kittens coming in. Kendra tells us:

"As a kitten foster mama, I love seeing about previous foster babies, so thought I'd submit one of my own!

"This one is for Radagast (formerly Izuku) that we adopted almost seven years ago when she was just nine weeks old. She is such a funny, sweet kitty and still gets the zoomies every day. She loves attacking the broom, keeping our other three cats in line, and jumping up on our shoulders to hitch a ride and get a better view."

Radagast definitely enjoys seeing the world from a different perspective! Send us your in DMs or email [email protected]

WHEW! We've had a busy few days here, with all sorts of fantastic fun pet events partnering with City of Kent Government, Reber Ranch, and other great organizations. So let's slow it down a bit before another busy week and enjoy another update from Emily.

"Hi RASKC! Just a quick update on Cinder, formerly Puma. It's been about a month since we brought her home and you'd never know it. Thanks for yet another beloved family member. She makes five RASKC alumni under our roof."

We love hearing from our RASKC alumni, especially multiple time adopters! Send your stories and photos to us in DMs or email [email protected]
