Jubilee Association of Maryland promotes independence, secures housing, and connects friends for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities in Montgomery County. Jubilee now supports approximately 150 adults with residential support services, and more with our new housing support services. Our emphasis on creating community and friendships is a hallmark of Jubilee.

Earlier this summer Jubilee had a unique request for a volunteer. We were seeking help at our front desk a few hours a week. Sara Sonet answered the call.

🙌“Volunteering gives me a wonderful window on how Jubilee operates, and why it is so successful,” said Sara. “I’m connected now in a different way to the energy that propels Jubilee forward. 🎉Congratulations to Jubilee Direct Support Professional Babatunde Osasona, Jubilee's September Shining Star! Babatunde recently helped welcome Jonathan (pictured together) to the Jubilee community and his new home. Nominated for this award by colleague Martha Ohanya, she says Babatunde has been a “ray of sunshine” in Jonathan’s life as he begins this new chapter in his life.

Congratulations to our August Shining Star, Front Desk Administrator Rosamond Sereboo. ✨🎉

“Rosamond has significantly enhanced the experience of office visits for everyone. She consistently greets staff and visitors with a positive attitude and a warm, welcoming smile. Rosamond has a wonderful sense of humor, is always willing to help, and readily goes beyond when needed, without hesitation. Her attention to detail and care is so appreciated," said Operations Manager Kathy. Kathy co-nominated Rosamond for the award with Custodial Bookkeeper Mildred.
