Any renter struggling to pay rent or utilities because of financial hardship due to the Coronavirus may be eligible for assistance. ords is here! If your tenants are struggling with rent or utility payments due to financial hardship caused by the Coronavirus, they may be eligible for rental assistance – with rental payments send directly to you. Eligible Expenses may include:

• Past due and current rent beginning April 1, 2020 and up to three months forward rent
• Past due and current water, sewer, gas, electric and home energy costs such as propane
• A one-time $300 stipend for internet expenses so you can use the internet for distance learning, telework, telemedicine and/or to obtain government services

Please note the call center will be closed for an hour tomorrow afternoon so that staff may participate in a holiday luncheon. The call center will reopen at 12:30 p.m.

Our call center will be closed on Thursday, November 24, and Friday, November 25 to allow our staff time to spend with their families. The call center will return to normal operating hours on Monday, November 28.

THE APPLICATION PORTAL IS NOW CLOSED. We are no longer accepting applications to the Mountaineer Rental Assistance Program. Applications submitted prior to 11:59 p.m. Friday, August 26, will still be reviewed for eligibility and paid as funding allows.
