With over 275 attendees and 77 vendors, the event brought together job seekers, employers, community organizations, and resource providers for an afternoon of meaningful connections and opportunities.

Join United Way of Kenosha County as a volunteer at our Born Learning Trail Installations! Help create fun, interactive outdoor learning spaces for families in our community.

📚Thank you, Readers are Leaders!📚

United Way of Kenosha County is excited to wrap up another successful year of our Readers are Leaders program! This year, we had 85 tutors across six Kenosha Unified Schools where they worked with 103 students on their literacy journey.

Across this year’s program, our tutors and students had over 1,200 sessions of reading, which equates to over 510 hours of reading! The time spent by our tutors contributes to stronger outcomes for students and a stronger future for our community. We are extremely grateful for everyone who was able to make a difference in many students literacy journeys this year.

The Techquity program is creating opportunities by helping individuals gain access to technology, education, career resources, and pathways into the tech industry. Through mentorship, training, and community support, participants are building brighter futures and breaking barriers in tech.
