🚨 UPDATE – POSSIBLE ARCHIE SIGHTINGS 🚨
We have now received multiple reports of a Boston Terrier believed to be Archie near the Dairy Queen / Main Street (Hwy 83) area in Antioch. This is approximately 1 mile from where he originally went missing.
If you are in that area, PLEASE keep your eyes open. DO NOT CHASE OR CALL OUT TO HIM. If you see him, keep him in sight from a distance if possible and call immediately with the exact location, direction of travel, and a photo if you can safely get one.
📞 (262) 620-3104
Please share — we need fresh sightings to help narrow down where Archie is staying. 🐾❤️
🚨 LOST DOG – ANTIOCH, IL 🚨

I just completed a thermal drone search tonight for Archie, but unfortunately I was not able to locate him.
Archie is a 31 lb Boston Terrier and is microchipped. He went missing earlier today in the Ridgewood Dr area of Antioch and was also spotted near Parkway & First.

Please keep an eye out tonight and tomorrow morning. If you see Archie, please DO NOT chase him. Try to keep eyes on him from a distance and call or text immediately with the location and direction he is traveling
📞 Call/Text: (262) 620-3104

Please share this post, especially in Antioch and surrounding-area groups. Every sighting helps us narrow down where Archie may be. ❤️🐾

A lost dog can cover a lot of ground quickly. The sooner we can establish the last confirmed location, sightings, direction of travel and surrounding terrain, the better information we have to work with.

I’ve searched woods, farm fields, marshes, neighborhoods and rural areas and have successfully located dogs with thermal—including dogs that were extremely difficult to see from the ground.

If your dog is missing, message or call me. Even if you’re unsure whether a drone search is the right option, I can talk with you about the situation.

BACKWOODS DRONE SEARCH & ROCKET RESCUE STRIKES AGAIN 🚀🌳😂
Well… this was definitely a first.
Today I got called out for a rocket rescue — a 4-foot high-powered rocket that ended up about 90 feet up in a tree along with the parachute, nose cone, electronics, and shock cord.
So yes… apparently Backwoods Drone Search & Rescue now does rocket recovery too. 😆
Good thing I had a tree guy ready to go.
We met up out at B**g, hiked way back in, pushed through water, made our way into the marsh, and got to work. After some teamwork — and a whole lot more effort than this rocket probably expected — we got it back down safely.
The rocket was higher then in the pictures thats after it got lowered some. . Possible video to come later
✅ Rocket recovered
✅ Nose cone recovered
✅ Electronics recovered
✅ Another successful mission
I usually bring home lost pets…
but today we brought home something that was apparently trying to return to space. 🚀😂
When they roam, we bring them home.
When they launch… apparently we bring those home too.

🐾Nonprofit or Small Business🐾 — Saving Lost Pets Still Costs Money

Sometimes people hear the word nonprofit and assume the work is somehow free. But the reality is that lost-pet recovery takes equipment, fuel, technology, time, maintenance and constant reinvestment.

Nonprofit organizations still need funding for fuel, flyers, road signs, live traps, cellular trail cameras, batteries, thermal drones, drone insurance, liability insurance, data plans, volunteer equipment, repairs and countless other operating expenses.

Those are many of the exact same expenses I have with Backwoods Drone Search & Rescue.

The biggest difference is simply where the money comes from.

A nonprofit may rely on donations, fundraising, sponsorships, grants and community support to cover those expenses.

I chose a different path.

When someone hires Backwoods Drone Search & Rescue for a lost-pet search,
a large portion of what I earn goes right back into the operation — purchasing, maintaining and upgrading the equipment needed for the next animal that goes missing.

Thermal drones, live traps, cellular trail cameras, batteries, portable power, insurance, vehicle expenses, communications equipment and everything else required to immediately respond do not pay for themselves.

So when someone pays for my services, they're not simply paying for a few hours of my time.

They're helping keep a fully equipped lost-pet recovery operation ready for the next call.

Different structure.
Different way of funding it.
Same reality — saving lost pets takes resources.

And I'll continue reinvesting in the tools, technology and equipment that give lost animals the best possible chance of making it home safely.

For those of you who have been waiting — here is the video of Sadie’s rescue. 🐾❤️

This starts just before I located her with the thermal drone, followed by the HD footage from the search.

So happy this little 4 lb girl made it home safe tonight.

SADIE IS HOME SAFE! 🐾❤️

Video to come later tonite

Tonight, Backwoods Drone Search & Rescue responded to Franklin, Wisconsin for 4-lb Sadie, who had been missing for several hours.

There had been multiple sightings in the area, but as darkness set in, finding such a tiny dog on the ground became extremely difficult.

We launched the Matrice 4T thermal drone and began working the neighborhood, wooded edges, yards and surrounding cover. After searching the area from above, Sadie was located and safely reunited with her family.

This little girl may only weigh about 4 pounds, but tonight her heat signature was enough to help bring her home.

Another successful thermal drone rescue. ❤️
